Member for Page, Janelle Saffin, has been given a pat on the back for her readiness to respond to email votergrams sent through the FairGO website.
A recent study conducted by FairGO and Voterland identified Miss Saffin as the second best federal politician at responding to voters, behind New England MP, Tony Windsor.
The results weren’t so good for Richmond MP, Justine Elliot though, who joined more than 90 other politicians to receive the wooden spoon, for not responding to any emails.
I don’t think it’s the job of any MP to prop up specific web based interest groups pushing their agendas… I don’t want my local MP wasting time answering loaded questions from fringe groups based from places as far flung as Nigeria etc etc. Good on the 90 sensible MPs who weren’t bullied into supporting Getup, FairGo etc etc. Thumbs down to NBN for this rediculus story!!!!
