North Woodburn residents will soon be able to throw out their old septic tanks with a $1.2 million dollar Waste Water Scheme now under way.
The project will connect 65 homes in North Woodburn to Richmond Valley Council’s existing sewerage system, reducing the risk of water contamination.
“And it will allow a little more development on this side for some of the blocks that are vacant at the moment”
The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
