Lismore’s street lamps will now save council close to $200,000 a year in electricity costs.
New energy efficient lighting has been installed across the shire which will cut around thirty percent off council’s annual bill.
The project is part of council’s climate protection project – which aims to reduce emissions by 20 per cent by the end of the year.
