Plans for a female-only rehabilitation centre in Moonee Beach have been approved.
Adele House will demolish the former men’s facility in order to expand its services, saying the demand for beds outweighs their current capabilities.
Funding for construction should be finalised in the next six months, with work hopefully starting in the second half of the year.
Adele House unveiled its $10.6 million, male-only rehabilitation centre in Bucca in October last year.
