Ballina’s ‘little Woolies’ is set to undergo a major expansion.
At today’s meeting, council unanimously approved a development application, which will see the store re-opened and extended.
The expansion will require the demolition of an adjoining house, giving the new and improved Woolworths store 57 new car parking spaces and river frontage.
The supermarket has been out of action since is was destroyed by fire last December.
