Stage three of Lismore’s vibrant Back Alley Gallery has officially opened to the public, with an interactive street party today.
The project is transforming the formerly dark and dreary – Eggins Lane – into a walk through street art gallery.
“A lot of people compare it to Melbourne, Melbourne has a really strong street art scene, people take tours. People pay to take tours of their laneways…I can imagine that for Lismore one day.”
The celebration also gave the community a chance to see the artists in action.
There are two stages left to complete until the final masterpiece is unveiled.
