MOTHER ACCUSED OF STABBING A TEACHER FRONTS COURT

A mother accused of stabbing a teacher during the morning drop-off at a Byron Bay primary school will remain in custody.
The 33-year-old – who can’t be named for legal reasons – was refused bail in court again yesterday.
She allegedly attacked 28-year-old teacher Zane Vockler with a pair of scissors on April 30, sending the school into lockdown.
He suffered a broken tooth, as well as wounds to his ear and face.
