Three women are in Lismore Base Hospital with minor injuries following a head-on crash west of Lismore.
Police are still investigating the cause of the collision, which occurred at Rock Valley just after 12 o’clock this afternoon.
Both cars were carrying two adults and a child at the time of the accident.
The two children escaped without injury.
“Occupants of both vehicles had their seat belts on and no doubt if they hadn’t been wearing their seat belts it could have been a lot more serious.”
It’s the third serious accident on north coast roads in just 2 days.
