Lismore’s “Our House” project received a final “lift” today, thanks to a $105,000 donation.
The money will pay for the elevator in the new 20-unit accommodation block for cancer and paediatric patients.
With the opening date looming, organisers say the money couldn’t have come at a better time.
“From now, we have a week to get all the rooms ready for opening and we’ll be fundraising for people to actually help people stay here as well”
It’ll be officially opened on December 4.
