Full-time working mother Janine Sigley has been named Lismore Electorate Woman of the Year during an awards ceremony today.
Janine won the award for her efforts in improving childrens literacy across the Tweed Valley, through specialised reading sessions with trained dogs.

A total of 14 women were nominated for the award, all receiving certificates for their achievements.
