WetlandCare Australia and North Byron Beach Resort have completed important restoration work at Byron Bay’s Belongil estuary, including weed control and improving the overall health of the 11-hectare catchment.
It’s one of 20 iconic Australian coastal wetlands and part of a $2.5-million Coastal Restoration Program.
