COMMUNITY RALLIES BEHIND GOONELLABAH’S LIBRARY

904 people have signed a petition pleading with Lismore Council to scrap its plans to shut down the Goonellabah Library.
Council is considering the closure to save money in its four year delivery plan.
If the doors are shut, Goonellabah residents will have to make the trip into Lismore to access a library.
A motion urging council to look into alternative cost cutting measures will be put forward at Tuesday night’s meeting
