KNITTING NANAS AVOID OBSTRUCTION CHARGES

Two members of ‘the knitting nanas against csg’ group, have had five of the six charges made against them following a protest in Kyogle, dropped in Casino Local Court.

One of the women had to be cut free with the jaws of life after chaining herself to a parked car, while the other had to be escorted down from a makeshift tripod.

The magistrate, dismissing two charges relating to the hindering of police, agreeing the women willingly left the site after being freed.
