The Westpac Rescue Helicopter saves countless lives, and now the community has a chance to give back.
Today, its major fundraiser was launched – the Byron Bay to Ballina Coastal Charity Walk.
The 35km track follows the coastline from Denning Park to the Ballina Surf Life Saving Club.
All money raised will go towards keeping the vital life-saving service in the air.
The event will step off on Sunday May 21, with online registrations open now.
