MAN ACCUSED OF SUPPLYING DRUGS FROM BARBERSHOP

Two men have been charged, accused of supplying ice from a barbershop in Newcastle.

38-year-old Dominic Tournur was arrested at the store at Westfield Kotara yesterday afternoon, where officers allegedly found $5,000 in a drawer.

51-year-old Peter Garay was arrested nearby and was allegedly found in possession of methylamphetamine.

Tournur has been charged with supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.

Garay has been charged with supplying an indictable quantity and supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.

Both men appeared in Newcastle Local Court today.
