General Manager of Lismore’s Westpac Helicopter Service, Kris Beavis, will run in next year’s state election.
Despite having no experience in politics, Beavis beat Ballina Shire Councillor Sharon Cadwallah (CAD-WALL-A) in Nationals pre-selection.
He says his campaign will be largely community focused.
“I’ve been actively involved with our local surf club and through the Helicopter I’ve always been involved in the community and this just seems like a natural extension of that work that I’ve been doing in our community.”
Beavis says CSG in the Northern Rivers and roads are his priorities.
