FUNDING GRANTS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY ENTREPRENEURS

Clean energy entrepreneurs are urged to put their best project forward for the state government’s Renewable Energy Action Plan.
Projects can receive funds of up to $70,000 to help develop a prototype.
Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams says the grant will help develop renewable energy solutions specific to the community’s needs.
“Community renewable projects are quite significant because it means that the community basically owns the project, they provide the idea, they provide the input and at the end of the day they’re the ones who actually get the benefits.”
