It’s an initiative that’s raised almost $200,000 for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service – but this year, the emergency service has cut its support for Lismore’s Trinity Drive christmas lights.
General Manager Chris Beavis says the spectacle has become so popular, the street would be unsafe, if there was an emergency.
