Lennox Head and Alstonville Surf Life Saving Club has been thrown a lifeline, receiving $140,000 in state government funding to refurbish the dilapidated clubhouse.
Upgrades include a new staircase, and improved toilet facilities and front entrance.
It’s part of the Surf Club Facility Grants Program, designed to boost membership and increase community participation.
