ZANE TETEVANO DROPPED BY MANLY SEA EAGLES

Former Newcastle Knight Zane Tetevano is without a club for next season, with Manly dropping his contract after he admitted to bashing his girlfriend on four occasions last year.
The 23-year-old pleaded guilty to eight charges in Newcastle Local Court on Friday, including common assault and stalking.
The Sea Eagles had offered Tetevano a one-year contract last month, but the agreement was not signed by the NRL.
In a statement, Manly said it had informed the NRL’s integrity unit of its decision.
“Violence against women is an extremely serious issue and is one that the club does not condone or tolerate,” it said.
The Sea Eagles are assisting Tetevano with his rehabilitation by linking him with the White Ribbon Campaign.
He’s due to be sentenced on March 5.
