Richmond Valley Greyhound, Kingsbrae Nelly has taken out this year’s $40 000 Lismore Cup overnight, with a convincing win over 520 meters.
Owned by Stratheden trainer, Toni Northfield, the greyhound sailed past Miners Moss and Hopping Houdini to clinch the win.
“Kingsbrae Nelly leads for home coming, out of the pack is Miners Moss, but Kingsbrae Nelly for the local, Minus Moss for the back and Hopping Houdini.”
The two year old returned $12 for the win.
The quinella paid $20.50 while the trifecta paid just under $400.
