HARD WORK IN STORE FOR TENNIS TALENT

The North West Tennis Academy has wrapped up its most successful year yet, with an annual awards presentation.
Kaecia Beattie was recognised for her breakout season, being named the Representative Player of the Year.
After 11 players qualified for the state finals, the bar’s been set even higher for next year.
“The kids need to understand they need to train during the holidays, otherwise they’ll go back in pretty rough. So if they’re prepared to do that instead of sitting around, they’re going to give themselves a head start.”
