Forget tinsel and baubles, Christmas in Lismore this year is all about bicycles.
Council today unveiled its quirky Christmas tree – which is made entirely of bikes.
Saved from the scrap yard, they’ve been melded and hand painted by council staff.
Even the star on the very top is made of wheels.
But if you prefer a more traditional looking festive season don’t fear, normal decorations will be installed around the city tomorrow.
