YAMBA DRIVER AND PASSENGER UNHURT AFTER 4WD GOES OVER CLIFF

Two men have escaped serious injury after their four wheel drive plummetted off a cliff and onto Yamba’s Main Beach early this morning.
According to police, the vehicle went down the cliff about 2am before coming to rest on its roof on Main Beach.
The 25-year-old driver, and the passenger, also 25, suffered lacerations but were able to pull themselves from the vehicle. They were treated at hospital for their injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash. The vehicle is expected to be recovered today.
