DIVERSIONS NOW IN PLACE AS WORK ON MAJOR PROJECTS CONTINUES

Motorists will face detours and delays, as work continues on several major road projects across the region.

North and southbound traffic on the Pacific Highway past Teven is down to one lane each way, after both directions were re-routed onto the northbound lanes this morning.

The 500-metre long diversion will allow work on new southbound lanes to commence.

Elsewhere, construction of a new roundabout and service roads on Tweed Valley Way, near the Pacific Highway interchange, is also underway.

The works are needed to accomodate a new highway service centre.
