A strong contingent of up-and-coming surfers from the North Coast region have headed over the border, ready to contest the Burleigh Pro on the Gold Coast.
James Wood, brothers Luke and Zak Condon and fourteen-year-old Mikey McDonagh are among the field of 96 set to hit the waves during the first round of the Qualifying Series.
Competition gets underway at 7.30am Queensland time tomorrow morning.
