RAIN BRINGS BUSHFIRE DANGER PERIOD TO EARLY END

Rain and other favourable weather conditions has allowed the Rural Fire Service to end the bushfire danger period across the Northern Rivers a month early.

It means residents in the Lismore, Kyogle and Richmond Valley council areas no longer require permits to light fires on their properties.
