TEENAGER INDECENTLY ASSAULTED BY TAXI DRIVER

A taxi driver has been charged, after allegedly entering the home of a passenger and indecently assaulting her on the far north coast.

Police say two 18-year-old women caught a taxi from a Lismore nightclub last Saturday.

One of the women was dropped off at a Keen Street home, while the other was taken to the CBD.

It’s alleged the 46-year-old driver then returned to the Keen Street home, and indecently assaulted the teenager.

The man’s been granted strict conditional bail, and will face Lismore Local Court next month.
