Volunteers have rallied behind the recently-formed Shark Watch New South Wales group, over the weekend.
20 people signed up for the group’s shark spotting program, during its inaugural meeting in Ballina yesterday.
Joining the 25 who’d already signed-up online.
Once trained, recruits will work as spotters, drone pilots, fundraisers and administration staff.
The group hopes to commence training soon.
