RESCUE CHOPPER VISITS BYRON BAY SCHOOL

It’s not every day a helicopter lands on the school oval, but that’s exactly what happened in Byron Bay today.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter, paid the kids at Byron Bay Public School a special visit, as part of the it’s annual Rescue Day celebrations.

“I think it was a great experience for the kids, how they get to learn how important emergencies are”

“I think it’s a really cool experience for the younger children”
