Peak hour traffic on the Bruxner Highway was brought to a standstill this morning.
Three cars collided near Goonellabah, between Pineapple Road and Richmond Hill Road, just before 8.30.
A female driver was taken to Lismore hospital with a suspected minor back injury.
All three vehicles had to be towed away.
