A 42 year old woman is being assessed at Lismore Base hospital after her car careered off the Bruxner Highway near Wollongbar around 3 o’clock this afternoon.
The vehicle clipped a guardrail and several fences before colliding with a tree.
“Huge bangs, and I just drove over and saw the car down there.”
“It’s come about 50 metres off the road and veered down in the paddock.”
It’s not yet clear what caused the crash.
