Ballina-Byron Gateway Airport’s expecting a bumper summer tourism season, with several airlines increasing services over the festive season.
12,500 extra seats will be available in December and January, on flights to and from Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle.
Management say the increase will help the airport meet its forecast of half a million passengers in 2017.
