BOATIE DIES FOLLOWING MEDICAL EPISODE

A man has died after suffering a medical episode while onboard a yacht, anchored in Mobs Bay, at South Ballina.

Emergency services rushed to the vessel around 9:30 this morning.

On arrival the man, thought to be in his 60’s, was found unconscious by lifesavers.

Paramedics administered CPR but sadly couldn’t revive him.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
