BALLINA GREEN ARMY GRADUATES

Ballina’s green army team have graduated with flying colours.
Six members were recognised this morning, during a ceremony at Boulders Beach.
The group has spent the last 6 months carefully restoring seven sites along the coastline.
“The guys have done planting, they’ve done bush regeneration, they’ve done track repair work, seed collection. Everything you need to do to regrow a rainforest.”
Federally funded and administered by ‘Envite’ locally – the program aims to make participants job-ready.
