MAN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGED 2014 HIT AND RUN
A 29-year-old man has been charged over an alleged hit and run crash, that caused a 60-year-old man to lose an arm and leg in 2014.
Trevor Fing was riding along Wild Duck Drive at Cams Wharf on June 3, when he was hit by a vehicle.
Mr Fing’s right arm and right leg were severed in the impact.
The accused attended Boolaroo Police Station yesterday and was charged with eight offences including dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, exceed speed by more than 45km/h, and fail to stop after accident.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Belmont Local Court next month.
