YOUNG DOG MUTILATED, KILLED AND DUMPED ON FAR NORTH COAST
Information is being sought from the public after a juvenile Kelpie or Cattle Dog cross was found killed and mutilated in suspicious circumstances on the NSW Far North Coast.
The 6-12 month old dog was found by local rangers dumped in grassland on Queensland Road in Casino, in the early hours of this morning.
The RSPCA was notified, and veterinarians have confirmed the dog had been dead for up to 48 hours when he was discovered.
The dog is described as medium sized, standing approximately 50 cms tall, between 15 and 20 kgs. He is a sandy colour, with some white on his belly and black fur under his jaw
He is not microchipped and has no signs of a collar or chain.
