BEER FUELS HIGHWAY TRUCK BLAZE

A truck loaded with beer burst into flames on the Pacific Highway near Tintenbar, around 3AM this morning.

The inferno destroyed the vehicle and closed both northbound lanes for more than six hours.

Thankfully, the driver jumped clear and was uninjured.

Traffic was diverted along Hinterland Way, while the wreckage was cleared.

Investigators aren’t yet sure what sparked the blaze.
