CUPCAKE KIDS RAISE OVER $850 FOR FLOOD AFFECTED SCHOOL
Two youngsters from the Northern Rivers have shown their generosity – helping flood-affected residents on the far north coast.
Best friends Indi-Rose and Madi-May from Pottsville decided to bake and sell cupcakes to raise money for the flood recovery.
With help from mum, they baked hundreds of cupcakes, selling them from a stall outside their house.
At just $2 a cupcake, they aimed to raise $100.
But the cupcakes proved so successful, Indi-Rose and Madi-May managed to raise $850 – and more donations are on their way.
They hope to gift the money to Crabbes Creek Primary School near Mullumbimby, which was damaged by floodwater.
What an effort girls! Well done!
