Checking the credentials of tradies offering to repair flood damage now takes just a few clicks.

The State Government’s launched ‘Rebuild Assist’ – a website where Northern Rivers residents can verify if contractors are correctly licensed and insured.

“We want to avoid any situations where dodgy tradies are out there taking advantage of vulnerable people.”

“That’s been the problem in the past where after a natural disaster, we’ve been flooded into the area by tradies that do not have the appropriate certificates or licenses.”
