WALKING THE WALK FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Around 200 people rugged up this morning, braving the drizzly conditions to get active for charity.
The group embarked on an eight kilometre downhill walk from Goonellabah to Crozier Oval to raise awareness and money for Northern Rivers Lifeline.
“The first walk started from Lismore and came up to summit, after the first walk we decided not to do that to you again so we turned it around are went down the hill.”
The “Walk the Walk” event is in its fourth year and organisers are hoping to raise around $10,000 for the lifesaving counselling service.
