FRENCH BENCH ONE OF FIRST SHOPS TO CLOSE

Lismore Cafe, the French Bench is one of the first local cafes forced to shut their doors, as people avoid public areas in response to coronavirus concerns.

In a Facebook post early this morning, the Cafe owners explained sales have slowed so much they can’t justify keeping the doors open.

In a heartwarming sentiment, the owners acknowledged the bitter sweet nature of their closure, thanking locals for taking the virus seriously and for their support over the years.
