Football Federation Australia has fined Newcastle Jets coach Ernie Merrick $3000 for comments he made following his sides 2-all draw with the Western Sydney Wanderers.
Merrick slammed the on-field officials, as well as the Video Assistant Referee, during the post-game press conference at the February 16 clash.
It comes as the club prepares to take on Sydney FC in a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday afternoon.
