BANGALOW MAN CHARGED WITH BESTIALITY AND PRODUCING CHILD ABUSE MATERIAL
Police will lay an additional 210 charges against a 42-year-old man following investigations into the origin of child abuse material found on seized devices.
In November last year police searched the mans Bangalow home a number of times where they found a digital camera, laptop, external hard drive, and other storage devices which allegedly contained the pictures.
Police say the devices contained thousands of videos and photographs of sexual and indecent assault, break-ins, peep and pry, filming for indecent purposes, and producing child abuse material.
Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad detectives will now charge the man with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated break enter and steal, produce child abuse material, bestiality, stalk and larceny.
Police will allege the man committed the offences against 161 victims between 2009 and 2017 across the Tweed and Byron areas.
