DONNING PINK FOR JODIE

Tradies in the Northern Rivers have traded their high-vis for a pink get-up, to raise money for the charity, ‘Jodie’s Inspiration.’
Fundraisers were held across the region, including in Lismore, where sandwiches and pink muffins were served up for a gold coin donation.
Deputy Chair of the charity, Jennifer Cook, says today was about starting a conversation and encouraging the early detection of cancer.
“Also just making people aware with our pink Halloween, golf day, whatever it is, we just want people to be aware of their bodies and aware of facilities and I guess support each other, it’s a really good area.”
So far the charity has raised more than a quarter of a million dollars.
