Lismore City Council’s proposing changes to the CBD’s one way strip on Magellan Street again.
It’s only an early thought, but if given the green light, the street would return to being two-way, but with more footpath landscaping.
“The reason for that… is the possibilty that Magellan street right through to Diadem street may become more significant with the CBD.”
It was changed to a one way street in 1997 before being changed to the other direction in 2003.
