UNION CLAIMS PHN CULLING STAFF FOR EXECUTIVES
The North Coast Primary Health Network has hit back at claims it’s doubling executive salaries, at the expense of front line staff.
The union claims leaked documents reveal the number of senior positions will grow from six to eleven, costing $900-thousand a year, to be paid for by redundancies.
“At this stage the only thing we’ve had confirmed is the IT departments going and that’s basically 10 years of corporate knowledge walking out the door and a couple of local jobs so we’re going to continue fighting for those positions.”
But the PHN says the leaked information is incorrect, with only one new executive role to be added in the restructure.
