Bluesfest has ditched paid parking, a month out from its 30th anniversary extravaganza.
Paid parking WAS to be introduced for 2019 , with organisers citing increased costs with regards to artist fees, production, logistics, grounds maintenance and security.
But the move has now been dropped – and festival-goers who’ve already paid will be refunded by April 12.
Organisers have apologised for any confusion and inconvenience caused.
Paid parking will instead be introduced in 2020.
