An investigation is underway after a man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the Northern Rivers.
Police believe a passing motorist spotted a Mitsubishi ute which had crashed into a tree on the Bruxner Highway, around 30 kilometres west of Casino, on Sunday afternoon.
The driver, believed to be a 68-year-old man, died at the scene.
Police are now working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
