The Mullumbimby community is calling for the person responsible for a fatal hit-and-run to come forward.
22-year-old Timothy Watkins was found dead on Wilson’s Creek Road around 1am on Sunday June 23rd.
A push-bike was also found near his body.
“The fact that the person didn’t remain at the scene and drove off that’s starting to get in the minds of not only the family but the whole community and there’s a little bit of anger starting to build.”
Mr Watkins was heavily involved in local rugby league and union competitions.
The community will gather to celebrate his life, this Friday at the Mullumbimby Leagues Club.
